Bob and Marcy ran 10 miles in Hood River, time 1h 29' 22" overall average 8'55"/ mile pace. Negative splits, due in part to hills: Ran first 5 miles at 9'16" pace and the last 5 miles at 8'36" pace.
Don rode his bike about 20 miles or so and would check in on us and ride away. We like to check the out the for sale house as we run:prices in Hood River have gone crazy. We were surprised to see what $400k would get (tare down shack). We saw a bunch of nice but not spectacular homes in the $750k to $1 million range...almost Seattle prices.

Run
Bob: Ran 5.5 miles at lunch, 54'41", averaging 9'45"/mile pace. Getting more used to Brooks Axioms, will try them for a 2nd run this week. Maybe I will be acclimated to the lighter shoes in time for the Chicago 1/2 marathon in sept?
